April 2023

Sewell Estates Newsletter

Hi and welcome to our April newsletter. Spring has finally sprung and the nights are getting lighter (at long last!). In this edition I am excited to be able to share the progress we have made with introducing our new co-owners (spoiler alert – that’s our team) into the governance of the business. Our Employee Council and Trust Board are in place and already starting to contribute to the business; the excitement in the team as they take on their new responsibilities and help to continue to build our group is fantastic to see first-hand. With other stories including our work to support mental health facilities in Sheffield, our team’s expertise at developing robust business cases to support our public sector clients, our work in the education sector around special educational needs and our support to give young people vital work experience, we’ve had a busy month.

As always, if you want to chat about any of our activities, please get in touch with me direct.

Enjoy the (promised) sunshine! Best wishes,

Jo Barnes
Managing Director, Sewell Estates
