Consultancy for your Healthcare Estate
Our teams from Community Ventures and Shared Agenda attended the Healthcare Estates 2023 conference and exhibition this month, where they showcased how our consultancy expertise can help the health sector solve its estates and service planning challenges.
Across the two-day conference our teams spoke to delegates about some of the biggest challenges they face at the moment, which ranged from utilisation to condition and backlog maintenance, as well as access to funding, net zero and workforce issues. Check out the results of our poll below.

Delegates at Healthcare Estates had many of the same challenges, whether they were from a primary, acute or mental health care background. Many people were hard pressed to choose just one answer, but immediate concerns around condition and backlog maintenance came out top, with longer term vision around sustainability and net zero a close second. We posed the question ‘What’s your biggest estates challange?’ The results were as follows:
Condition and backlog maintenance – 27%
Sustainability and journey to net zero – 25%
Estates workforce – 21%
Access to alternative finance – 15%
Utilisation and meeting service demand – 12%

Thanks to everyone who shared their details with us at Healthcase estates.
