Team members from Shared Agenda take to the ropes for charity

Four of our team mates joined a further five employees from across Sewell Group and took to the ropes to abseil 200ft down Hull’s tallest office building.

The abseil took place on Friday 29 April off the K2 Building in Hull City Centre, for The Kirkwood, an end-of-life hospice based in Huddersfield who provide specialist care to adults with advanced, progressive illnesses, as well as providing support for their family members, friends, and carers.

This was the first active event under the Group’s efforts to bolster its West Yorkshire construction company’s – Illingworth & Gregory (I&G) – pledge to raise a significant amount of money as part of its 50th year in business.

The abseil was the start of many fundraising activities throughout this year and beyond, with another member from Shared Agenda jumping 15,000ft in a skydive on Sunday 8 May.

Over the next few months, team members from across the Group will be taking to the skies, the mud, the kitchen, and the golf course, with events to suit the group’s 500 employees across the region.
