Sewell Group celebrates ISO success

Sewell Group Ltd has affirmed its commitment to quality, safety and the environment by earning three new ISO certifications.

The company has officially been approved as meeting the stringent standards for ISO9001 (Quality management), ISO14001 (environment) and ISO45001 (occupational health and safety).

The ISO standards define what great looks like, setting consistent benchmarks for businesses to meet and ensuring services are safe, reliable, high quality, sustainable and ethical.

  • ISO9001 is a globally recognised standard for quality management. It ensures we have effective processes in place to ensure we deliver quality services every time.
  • ISO14001 is all about the environment. It shows that we’re taking proactive steps to reduce our environmental footprint, and demonstrates our commitment to a sustainable future.
  • ISO45001 provides a framework to help us manage risks and improve occupational health and safety. It confirms that we have systems in place to help reduce workplace injuries, illnesses and incidents, and helps us with the continual improvement of our safety performance.

Although many of our individual businesses previously had these ISO certifications, the certification for Sewell Group Ltd ensures all of our estates businesses are managed to the same high standards.

Matt Murphy, Senior Safety, Environment and Compliance Manager at Sewell Group, said: “I’m really proud that our team’s hard work and processes have been recognised as being at an international standard. It proves our commitment to providing services of the highest quality to our partners and customers, whilst at the same time ensuring that our commitment to safety and the environment is maintained at all times.

“One of the best benefits of the ISO system is that it helps us ensure that not only are we maintaining high standards, but we’re also continually improving in everything that we do.”
