Sewell Facilities Management partnership with Hull Animal Welfare Trust
It is open 365 days a year and often the first port of call for animal shelter and wellbeing in Hull and the East Riding.
Hull Animal Welfare Trust has rescued and re-homed thousands of animals since it began on a much smaller scale 34 years ago and needs someone on-site 24/7 to ensure they are cared for.
The charity relies on donations to continue its work and couldn’t survive without the care and support of dedicated volunteers.
Now, after months of ad hoc support, the charity has joined forces with Sewell Facilities Management for peace of mind around the clock.
From planned preventative and reactive maintenance, to statutory compliance, caretaking and refurbishment and redecoration work, everything is taken care of in an affordable way which provides value for money.
Angela Salisbury, General Manager at Hull Animal Welfare Trust, said: “It makes life so much easier for everyone at the shelter to know they can ring one single number for whatever we need and it will be sorted.
“We rescue animals, so having peace of mind that everything else is taken care of is wonderful.
“We are now formalising the informal facilities management support we have enjoyed over the years.
“It puts the relationship on an even better footing and we look forward to many more years working with a great bunch of people.”
Martin Stead, Managing Director of Sewell Facilities Management, said: “Hull Animal Welfare Trust is the perfect example of how we can tailor a Facilities Management package to suit the individual customer.
“Whether it is a charity, a school, a health centre, or a business, every package is bespoke to ensure all legal requirements are met and peace of mind is always there.”
