Sewell Advisory to manage improvements at Park House Health Centre

Sewell Advisory has been project managing a scheme to add more clinical and treatment space to a health centre in Nottingham.

Financial close has been reached for variation works at the Park House Health and Social Care Centre in Carlton, Nottingham. Internal reconfigurations will make use of underutilised void café space turning it into a new suite of clinical and treatment rooms.

A total investment of £810k, funded in full by Community Health Partnerships (CHP) and supported by NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICB and Greater Nottingham LIFTCo, the new treatment rooms will help increase productivity within the building and support the Government’s mission to provide more services within the community, aiding prevention and taking pressure off local hospitals.

The building boasts services including two outpatient’s suites, podiatry, dental services, physiotherapy, children and young people’s services alongside GPs and podiatry and the new clinical rooms will offer welcome new space within the building.

James Weaver, Regional Director – Midlands at Community Health Partnerships, said “It has been fantastic to get this variation to financial close. Park House is another brilliant example of what can be achieved throughout our region following the variations in Nottingham at Clifton and Stapleford. I will look forward to seeing the changes complete and delivering more valuable services within the community.”

A spokesperson for Greater Nottingham LIFT said: “GNL and ECV are delighted that Financial Close has been successfully achieved at Park House Medical Centre, which will now allow mobilisation and preparation for the works commencing on site in May.”

This space will add a modern, private and accessible space for those who use Park House Health and Social Care Centre.
