Construction projects finalists in excellence awards

Several I&G and Sewell Construction projects have been named as finalists in the Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber Awards, which showcase innovation, collaboration and outstanding achievement across the construction industry.

The Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease in Leeds has been nominated for several awards, including the headline Building Project of the Year prize, and the Integration & Collaborative Working category.

The Health Sciences Library at the University of Leeds, a refurbishment project by I&G, has also been chosen as a finalist.

The Digital Construction Academy has also been nominated for a Social Impact award, for its work providing a range of hands-on, inspiring opportunities to get young people enthused about a career in the construction industry.

Winners will be announced at the start of June, who will then go forward to the national awards later in the year.
