HELPING IN-PATIENT MENTAL HEALTH PATIENTS GET BETTER QUICKER

CLIENT: HUMBER TEACHING NHS TRUST | TYPE OF WORK: CONSULTANCY | SECTOR: HEALTH

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health, primary care and community-based healthcare across Hull, the East Riding and North Yorkshire. Their annual capital programme seeks to improve patient care by upgrading the facilities and accommodation at several of their mental health in-patient centres.

As well as establishing the programme of works, Sewell Advisory also performed technical appraisals to determine the scope of each project, procured professional advisors and contractors, managed the tender process and recommended who the Trust should procure.

client-side project management

working in partnership

Working in partnership with the Trust, we acted as the client-side project manager, identifying and prioritising which refurbishment and remodelling projects could be delivered through the annual capital programme.

“Secure mental health units are probably one of the most challenging healthcare environments to work in, but the team made sure every phase has been delivered on time, to an exceptional standard.”

Daniel Laughton, Projects and Strategic Development Manager, Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust
